As you can see, we have a fun filled day planned for everyone at every age. We hope you will come and enjoy the day with us.

This is a teatative schedule for the day.


6-10 A.M.         Firemen's Breakfest at Fire House

9-11 A.M.         Free Blood Pressure Check at SW corner of the Lodge Building, given by Lucas County Health Nurse

9 A.M.-3 P.M.    John L. Lewis Mining & Labor Museum Open

10 A.M.            Sandwich & Drink Stand Open

9-10:30 A.M.    Chariton River Valley Antique Power Association Tractor Display in front of the John L. Lewis Museum

9:30 A.M.-10:30 P.M.    Parade Registration 2 Blocks East of John L. Lewis Museum

10:45 A.M.    Parade line-up

11 A.M.        Parade  Theme "Everyday Hero's

                   Beef & Noodle Dinner following Parade at Community Building

12 P.M.        Garden Tractor Pull Registration on West Front Street

1 P.M.         Garden Tractor Pull on West Front Street- West of Fire Station

1 P.M.         Children's Pedal Tractor Pull Registration (70lb limit) in front of John L. Lewis Museum

1 P.M.         Dunk A Fireman!! at the Lucas Fire House

1:30 P.M.     Pedal Tractor Pull in front of John L. Lewis Museum

1:30 P.M.     Firemen's Water Fights in front of Fire Station

2 P.M.          Free Children's Drawing- After Pedal Tractor Pull

2 P.M.          Cake Walk in Community Building

3 P.M.         Raffle Drawing for 48' TV, Webber Grill, Gift Certificates, Quilt & Money Prizes in Community Building


FREE PARKING IN THE FORMER DEKKO PARKING LOT & FREE PARKING CARS & PICKUPS ONLY-BEHIND COMMUNITY BUILDING. 

Festival Proceeds are used for John L. Lewis Museum maintenance.
